Daniel Yeadon
Masters of Science in Political Science from University College London, and a Bachelors in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Manchester
Greetings! I’m Daniel, a highly experienced tutor with 14 years of expertise assisting students in college preparation across the US, Europe and Asia. My specialties include SAT, ACT, IELTS, GRE/GMAT, physics, and astronomy.
Over the years, I’ve helped more than 1000 students achieve their educational goals. I hold an undergraduate degree in physics and astronomy from the esteemed University of Manchester, along with a postgraduate degree in Political Science from University College London. Additionally, I have a Trinity College London Certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CertTESOL).
I began my tutoring journey in 2010 in Kathmandu, Nepal, focusing on college exam preparation. During my undergraduate years, I taught physics and astronomy in the UK, and after graduation, I taught AP physics and math to grades 9–12. Furthermore, I spent six years teaching english to foreign language students in Oxford, London and Barcelona.
As an educator, my passion lies in empowering students to excel and achieve their aspirations. I create a supportive and engaging learning environment, emphasizing collaborative tools and open communication to ensure student success. Throughout my career, I’ve been proud of achieving a 100% success rate at a UK high school in students’ final-year physics examinations, with all of these students going on to study physics or engineering at top UK universities.
Currently based in Dallas, Texas, I focus on teaching SAT/ACT prep while maintaining a practice in college-level physics and astronomy. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the banjo and cycling around Texas with my daughter.
I’m excited to meet new students and work together to reach their educational goals. Let’s embark on this journey of learning and growth!
