The Graduate Record Examination (GRE®)Test is a computer-delivered test that features question types that closely reflect the thinking you will do — and the skills you need to succeed — in today’s demanding graduate school programs, including business and law. The GRE® is the most widely accepted standardized test for admission to graduate school globally. The GRE is accepted by thousands of graduate schools worldwide and is now also accepted by more than 1,000 business schools, including most of the top MBA programs in the US. The GRE General Test measures your verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills — skills developed over a long period, unrelated to a specific field of study but essential for all. - Sustain a well-focused, coherent discussion
- Control the elements of standard written English
- Analyze and conclude discourse; reason from incomplete data; identify author’s assumptions and/or perspective; understand multiple levels of meaning, such as literal, figurative, and author’s intent.
- Select essential points; distinguish primary from minor or irrelevant issues; summarize text; understand the structure of a text.
- Understand the meaning of individual words, sentences, and entire texts; understand relationships among words and concepts
- Understand, interpret and analyze quantitative information
- Solve problems using mathematical models
- Apply basic skills and elementary concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis
